We are delighted to welcome Daniela Ballard, the Consul General of the American Consulate in Florence, to the Ancient Thermal Baths of Porretta. The consul came to visit and see for herself the historic site on Thursday 25th of July. We take pride in showcasing this historic site, sharing its rich history, the ongoing restoration and preservation efforts, and its envisioned future use for the common good. The site will serve as a hub for artists in residence, education, social engagement, science, and sports, benefiting both the local community in Italy and visitors from around the world. This initiative is particularly vital for the younger generation, ensuring they can also discover and experience this unique place.
